Not only Apple, but Samsung will also benefit a great deal if iPhone X becomes a hit as several of the components made by the South Korean manufacturer are used in the upcoming smartphone.
WSJ report claimed that Samsung will make up to USD 110 on sale of every iPhone X model because of these parts. Apple and Samsung had agreed to terms of trading display screens and memory chips according to which Samsung exports these smartphone components to the US company.
The all-new iPhone X is expected to be priced at USD 1,000 which means that Samsung will generate a profit of over 10 percent on each sales of the smartphone. The report suggests that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has already generated a large sum of revenue through this deal.
In the making of Apple s tenth anniversary model, the company used OLED display screens and memory units made by Samsung which has already rolled out its own Galaxy Note 8 earlier this year. WSJ report believes that with the first 20 months after launch of iPhone X, Samsung is expected to generate about USD 4 billion through these OLED screens and memory chips.
The new iPhone model will go on sale from November 3. It is priced at USD 1,000 which is over PKR 1 lac.
