    Wasim Akram Wasim Akram

Former stunning fast bowler Wasim Akram on Saturday urged to support national team as World Twenty20 is near.

While talking to media at a launching ceremony of cricket game in Karachi, he advised the nation and former players to be patient and support the team instead of criticism.

He said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formed a committee to probe into Pakistan’s Asia Cup exit. He said that Shahid Afridi lacks technique but we cannot replace him as we don’t have any other option.

Wasim Akram lashed out at selection committee and stated that the coach should be the part of the committee.

Talking about sending Pakistani players to India, he said that if there are security threats then the team shouldn’t participate in WT20.
