Pakistan finalised their playing XI for tomorrow’s (Wednesday) Super Four match against Afghanistan at the Gaddafi Stadium.

The seventh match of the Asia Cup will be played in scorching heat, but Pakistan is quite adoptive of this situation, and Bangladesh recently trounced Afghanistan in these conditions.

Pakistan are looking to add another fast bowler to the playing XI, considering that the spinners went for runs in their last outing against India in a rain-hit match.

All-rounder Faheem Ashraf had been inducted into the playing XI in place of Mohammad Nawaz, who was not up to the mark with the spin.

Bangladesh faced a big blow as their opener, Najmal Hossain Shanto, suffered a hamstring injury during his outing against Afghanistan on Sunday. However, Bangladesh still has good batters like Mehidy Hasan Miraz and the experience of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim.

In terms of pace attack, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam will be vital for their team, as both of them were lethal against Afghanistan's batting attack.

Taskin bagged four and Shoriful three to perplex the Afghan batters.
