At least 9 people including a police constable were killed in Karachi in different firing incidents.
According to details, a youth was shot dead during open firing at Baloch Para in Manghopir area while a police constable Shuja Hussain’s tortured and bullet wounds containing body was recovered near Civil Hospital. He was kidnapped and shot dead after kidnap, said police.
Another youth Rizwan’s tortured body was found near Crown Cinema on Mauripur Road and a woman, Mahnoor’s dead body was recovered from a flat of Falak Naz Plaza on Shahra-e-Faisal.
Another person turned victim of firing near Abul Hassan Isphani Road in Block-IV of Gulashan-e-Iqbal while a local leader of the ANP, Mian Jan, was shot dead at Merryville in SITE area this day۔
On the other hand, police have arrested four activists of a banned outfit during separate raids, on secret tip, in Sultanabad and Kanwari Colony areas in Manghopir and recovered four TT pistols and two hand grenades from their custody.
