The postmortem of youngster killed in an alleged encounter has been completed while five personnel involved in the incident have been arrested.
According to details, the alleged police encounter took place near Government School, on Asma Garden Abul Hassan Isphani Road last night, which resulted in the killing of young boy, Musab Hassan.
According to SSP Malir Adeel Chandio, personnel of SSP Headquarters East, squad of Qamar Rizvi left to had lunch when they opened fire on robbers, who tried to escape after robbing a motorcycle from a citizen, causing a passenger injury, who was identified as Musab.
According to SSP Malir, the youngster was injured by the firing of robbers, who was died later. The postmortem of the victim youth has been completed, whose initial report has also been prepared.
On the other hand, police surgeon Ejaz Khokar said that a bullet coin has been found from victim’s head and is handed over to the police, while SSP Adeel Chandio mentioned that the police officers were not having pistols with them. Gun of robbers is being observed by a forensic test while five police personnel involved in the incident have also been arrested.
