    Fishermen of India who were released from prison in Karachi as a goodwill gesture of Pakistan have reached Lahore where they will be handed back to Indian authorities via Wagah border.

    These fishermen were previously apprehended by Pakistan for violating sea boundaries.

    Foreign office had announced to release as many as 360 Indian fishermen in four phases while five Indian citizens and 355 fishermen are included in freed persons.

    As many as 100 fishermen were released on April 8 in the first phase.

    In the third phase, 100 more Indian fishermen will be released on April 22 while in fourth phase 55 fishermen and 5 civilians will be released on April 29th.
