Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hasan Chohan on Sunday said that politicians who are being caught for their crimes are taking it out on Prime Minister Imran Khan as a last resort.
Speaking to media, Chohan criticised comments by opposition calling PM Imran inexperienced, and said they are taking out their anger at the PM.
“Those being caught in the accountability [drive] have resorted to claiming that democracy is in danger,” he added.
He also criticised senior leaders of opposing Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, saying they are slaves to their respective party heads.
Khursheed Shah is a slave to Zardari, and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to Nawaz Sharif, the minister said.
Both PML-N and PPP have criticised PM Imran for being inexperienced and unable to run state affairs.
PPP Chairman Bilawal earlier today said that the government is hounding opposition as it has no performance to show till yet.
