    Amjad Javed Saleemi, a BS-22 officer currently serving as Commandant in National Police Academy under Interior Division, on Tuesday has been appointed as new Punjab Inspector General.

    According to details, Establishment Division has issued a notification in this regard.

    Amjad Javed Saleem joined police department as Superintendent of Police (SP) on November 1, 1986. He served as DPO Gujranwala and Mianwali and also performed his duties in Bosnia under Unites Nations’ peace mission.

    He was also posted as DPO Sahiwal and Sialkot and also served as DIG investigation and CCPO Quetta.
