Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday visited Punjab Institute of Mental Health and met with patients.
During the visit, CJP inspected health facilities in different wards including emergency and discussed the problems of the patients. He also barred everyone from calling the hospital as mental asylum.
The emergency incharge briefed the CJP about the facilities after which, the top judge assured the patients to not get worried about anything.
Mian Saqib Nisar further asked to show him the kitchen so that he can inspect the arrangements there.
I will visit every ward of every department in the hospital, he said to Medical Superintendent of the hospital.
