PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and spokesman of the provincial government, Mian Iftikhar Hussein has said that ANP was a protagonist of democracy thus there was no ban on political activities in the province.
In a statement issued here, he said that neither they had banned rallies and processions in the past nor have any such plans for the present. However, he said that before visiting sensitive districts like Malakand and South getting a no-objection certificate (NoC) from the provincial government was must.
“If someone continues with the political activities disregarding the law and order situation in the province, that too without even obtaining an NoC, then the provincial government will have to step in”, said he.
