The Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have taken a decision regarding Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) rally in South Waziristan this month, but will reveal the decision a day before the rally embarks on its journey, reported BBU Urdu on Monday.
According to the report, TTP Spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan told a BBC correspondent that the decision was taken during an important meeting of the top Taliban leadership. The spokesperson did not reveal whether the Taliban are in favour of the peace march or against it.
The Taliban had earlier opposed the peace march and had threatened to attack PTI chief Imran Khan terming him a “liberal”.
The PTI rally against drone strikes will begin on October 6.
