At least five militants were killed in a clash with security forces near Kailash valley in Chitral, reported on Wednesday.
According to details, an exchange of firing took place between security personnel and extremists near Pakistan-Afghan border that claimed lives of five terrorists.
The officers cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.
Earlier, some terrorists, who came from Afghanistan, killed as many as two Kailash shepherds and escaped from the scene with their cattle.
