Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday took a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government by saying that it can collect donations but is completely unaware of governance skills.

Speaking to party workers, the Pakistan Peoples Party leader said that he is not alone but a number of parties are standing with him in a bid to challenge the government as the latter is unable to give good governance.

"The (PTI) government does not want wisdom. The dollar is reaching at Rs155. Today the banks don't have money and the economy is at the downward spiral," he said.

Zardari said that a drama was orchestrated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shehbaz but he should have remained patient.

Zardari told the workers to always be with Bilawal, Asifa and Bakhtawar.

"I was asked why I haven’t called my workers to come to the court. We will prove ourselves innocent," he said. "Bilawal is young and hot-headed. Always be with him."
