Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday met family of late Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Dawar to condole sad demise of valiant police official.
As per details garnered, state minister for interior Shehryar Afridi, Iftikhar Durrani and Inspector General of KP were also present on the occasion.
PM stated that Dawar was a courageous and dutiful police official. “Dawar’s courage is pride for Police Department”, added the premier.
PM assured full assistance to the family of deceased.
Dawar gave his life in the line of duty. On November-14, Dawar’s tortured dead body was recovered by residents of Afghanistan’s Dur Baba district in Nangarhar.
