    British High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Islamabad and felicitated him on winning of elections by his party.

    During the meeting, while expressing good wishes the British High Commissioner said that the British government was ready for full cooperation with the PTI government.

    He said that the British government will help Pakistan government promote education in the country.

    Thomas Drew went on to say that Imran Khan’s speech has left positive impact across the Britain.

    They also discussed Pak-UK relations and efforts to further strengthen these.

    Speaking on the occasion, PTI chairman Imran Khan thanked the British government and said that the Pakistan-Britain relations are very important, adding that they will promote bilateral cooperation in Britain.

    He further asserted that money laundered to Britain will be brought back to Pakistan.

    On the other hand, the French government also felicitated Imran Khan on his thumping victory in general election and said that the government will cooperate with Pakistani government.
