The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave former president Pervez Musharraf till 2pm on June 14 to return to Pakistan.
The apex court noted that it was not bound to comply with the coniditions set forth by Musharraf.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar said that the apex court would take action upon Musharraf's failure to comply with the orders.
"Musharraf was assured he would get protection but we are not bound to issue a written assurance to him," said Chief Justice Nisar.
"He (Musharraf) should come (to the court) if he is a commando," remarked the chief justice. "Why is he so afraid of returning to Pakistan?"
