    Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Suhail Aman has said that no one could dare to cast an evil eye on the country that had been established in the name of Islam.

    The Air Chief was speaking at a ceremony held to pay tribute to the Arab-Israel War of 1973 hero Air Commodore (retd) Sattar Alvi at the Karachi’s PAF Museum on Saturday.

    The PAF chief recalled that Air Commodore (retd) Sattar Alvi fighting from the Syrian side had shot down an Israeli Mirage plane.

    He said that today all the enemies had united to conspire against Pakistan, but they would never succeed in their nefarious designs.

    Pakistan is an ideological state established in the name of Islam, he said, adding that no one could dare to cast en evil eye on it.

    The PAF chief said that the nation is very proud of its great pilots.

    The Pakistan Air Force would not spare any effort to make the defence of the country impregnable; the Air Chief assured.

    Earlier on Friday, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman had said that the armed forces are fully committed to safeguarding the country.

    Delivering a lecture on “Leadership, Education and Society Development” at Rawalpindi Medical University in Rawalpindi, the Air Chief said that Pakistani nation and the armed forces fought the war against terrorists with supreme courage and determination.

    He termed the indigenously produced JF-17 Thunder a symbol of national pride. The PAF would continue its journey of indigenisation to further improve its defence capabilities, he added.

    The PAF has been at the forefront in the war against terrorism.
    Last year, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman had said that the Pakistan air force could shoot down any drone which violates the country’s airspace.
