    Opposition on Monday has harshly criticized the ruling party government for ‘mishandling’ the sit-in matter. Khurshid Shah has said that it would have been better if the matter was resolved in the parliament.

    On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami’s chief Siraj-Ul-Haq stressed that many lives and public property would have been spared if Zahid Hamid had resigned on the very first day of the protest anticipating the strength and resolve of the protesters and added that government should apologize to the nation for the chaos that resulted due to their faulty policies and incompetence while Pervaiz Elahi went so far to state that Nawaz Sharif failed in his desperate attempt to push the country in civil war.

    Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held that Ahsan Iqbal should have instead resigned from Interior Ministry office. PTI’s senior leader Fawad Chaudhary said that the world got the impression that the nuclear power Pakistan is a lawless country.
