The minister for water and power Abid Sher Ali has announced that the load shedding would be curtailed in Ramada during the Sehr and aftar timing but the load shedding duration will continue persist six hours in urban and eight hours in rural areas.
Talking to media at LESCO office in Lahore minister said that government has striking hard against the power thefts while industries would face nine to ten hours load shedding in coming days.
“During Ramazan the arrangement of additional one thousand transformers and three thousands trolleys being made and I request people to shut down their air conditioners during the Sehr and Aftar timing,” Abid Sher added that system is being upgraded and at the end of the current year the target of generating 16000 megawatt electricity would be achieved.
