Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would slip away from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) hands in 2018.
While addressing a public gathering in the city, the premier said that his political opponents only have sit-ins and demonstrations in their fate.
The Prime Minister said that those who could not create a ‘new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’, how would they create a ‘new Pakistan’.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) does not work to boast its efforts in front of the nation, he added.
The Prime Minister announced establishing an agricultural university in Dera Ismail Khan along with a development package of Rs 500 million. The premier also announced Rs 770 million for provision of gas to the people in DI Khan.
The federation would provide 65 percent of funds for the project while provincial government swanking claims of ‘new Pakistan’ will give 35 percent, he added.
It should be mentioned here that earlier this month, the Prime Minister announced establishment of a university in Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during his visit to Bannu.
Rejecting reports of Chashma Right Bank Canal in doldrums, Nawaz Sharif asserted that the project would complete within three months. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has performed DI Khan-Hakla Motorway at Yarak on Tuesday morning.
The two hundred and eighty-five kilometer long motorway is part of western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
It will be completed at a cost of over Rs 129 billion in two years. The Prime Minister is about to address a public meeting in DI Khan.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman addressed the gathering before giving the podium to the premier.
The Prime Minister is lashing out at opposition parties mainly PTI consistently in his public speeches ever since Panama Papers published leaked documents of Mossack Fonseca naming his family members.
