    Five mobile utility stores outlets have been established in Chitral on the direction of PM Nawaz Sharif.

    Rescue and relief operations are in full swing in the flood-hit areas across the country.

    The National Disaster Management Authority has transported 15 tonnes of ration and one tonne of bottled water to Chitral for the flood affectees through two C-130 planes.

    It has also evacuated 80 stranded tourists with the help of PAF from the affected areas.

    The NDMA has also transported 20 tonnes of commodities for the flood hit areas of Mastung and Bhoni from Gilgit.

    Punjab PDMA sets up 144 relief camps
    The Punjab Disaster Management Authority has established 144 camps in the flood-hit areas.

    A PDMA spokesman said in Lahore that over ninety six thousand marooned people have so far been evacuated from the inundated areas.

    The spokesman said cooked meal is being provided to flood affectees on regular basis.

    Navy teams in rescue operations in Sindh
    In Sindh, Pakistan Navy teams have evacuated three hundred and seventy two people from flood hit areas of Sukkur district.

    The Navy has put on high alert its emergency relief teams in Urmara, Makran, Pasni, Gawadar, Jiwani, Turbat, Shah Bandar, Sajawal and Khotki to meet any eventuality.

    In Tharparkar, the local administration has shifted people of the rain affected areas to safer places and rain water is being drained out from the affected towns.

    In Thatta, the local administration is monitoring the river embankment and evacuating the people of low-lying areas to safer places.
