    Rain-wind thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next twelve hours.

    However, isolated heavy falls/hailstorm is likely in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Punjab and Kashmir. Dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

    Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

    Islamabad and Peshawar eighteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty, Karachi twenty-five, Quetta thirteen , Gilgit fifteen, Murree eight and Muzaffarabad sixteen degree centigrade.

    According to Met Office weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather and chances of rain with wind thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla while partly cloudy weather and chances of rain with wind thunderstorm in Jammu.

    Temperature recorded this morning:

    Srinagar ten degree centigrade, Jammu twenty, Leh minus-one, Pulwama and Baramulla nine, Anantnag and Shopian eight degree centigrade.

    On the instructions of Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa, MD WASA Ghafran Ahmed issued instructions to WASA Lahore to be on early alert.

    According to the sources, they said that in case of rain, all the staff and machinery remained fully active in the field. Screens at all disposal stations should be kept clean. All generators should be kept on standby. All underpasses and main highways should be cleared immediately in case of rain.
