The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Sunday seized a cache of explosives and illicit arms during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the security forces conducted raids on suspected militants’ hideouts in the district and recovered explosive material, RPG rockets, detonators and other arms and ammunition.
On March 02, the Frontier Corps conducted IBOs in Karbala and Pishin area of Balochistan on terrorist hideouts, during which six suspected terrorists were apprehended.
A cache of arms and ammunition including 500 kilograms of explosive material, suicide jackets, prepared IEDs, sub machine guns, mines and communication equipment were seized.
