Police powers given to Frontier Corps (FC) on September 2 have been expired.
FC were given police powers due to deterioration law and order situation in Quetta on September 2 this year. These powers were extended for one more month till December 2. The extension was also endorsed by the provincial cabinet.
Balochistan Home Secretary, Akbar Hussain Durani said that the police powers granted to FC have been expired and a decision to further extend these powers will be taken today during provincial assembly session.
