Pakistani actress Mahira Khan’s Instagram account has been shadow-banned after she expressed solidarity with Palestine.
The actress herself shared through a platform story:
“Great! My account has been shadow-banned.”
What is a Shadow ban?
A process to block (a user) from a social media site or online forum without their knowledge, typically by making their posts and comments no longer visible to other users.
Social media giant Meta has shadow-banned many consumers supporting Palestine, and many pages were being blocked that were expressing solidarity with Palestine.

Earlier, Mahira Khan has expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza and shared a picture of a Palestinian child suffering in the battle for his land.
