    Ankara-based TED University has announced generous scholarships for Pakistani students enrolling in various undergraduate and graduate programs for the Fall 2024 semester.

    During the recent Devcom-Pakistan webinar, officials from TED University’s international programs revealed the exciting opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Turkey.

    The scholarships, ranging from 25% to 100%, will be awarded based on academic achievements and other qualifications, eliminating the need for GRE or English language proficiency tests.

    Can Öney, representing the International Programs Office, highlighted TED University’s distinguished reputation in Ankara, boasting a dedicated faculty committed to student success. The university offers an array of facilities for education, healthcare, and recreation, all provided at no cost to students.

    The undergraduate programs offered span across five faculties, including architecture, psychology, mathematics, and various engineering disciplines. Meanwhile, graduate programs cover diverse fields such as data science, economics, and engineering management.

    With an approximate student body of 5,000, TED University maintains a favorable faculty-to-student ratio of 24:1, ensuring personalized attention and guidance. Students are encouraged to engage in collaborative projects and research initiatives with faculty members, enriching their academic experience.

    Haares Munir, Head of the International Student Community, expressed a profound sense of belonging and commended the university’s supportive environment. Emphasizing the availability of health, sports, and recreational facilities, Munir highlighted leadership development opportunities for students.

    Fluency in Turkish, or at least basic proficiency, is encouraged among Pakistani students to facilitate communication with locals and navigate daily challenges effectively.

    The announcement was met with enthusiasm by Devcom-Pakistan Executive Director Munir Ahmed, who emphasized the deep-rooted historical ties between Turkey and Pakistan. Ahmed underscored the importance of enhanced collaboration across various domains, including education.

    The exchange program between students from both nations aims to foster mutual understanding and strengthen bilateral relations, fostering a sense of brotherhood and warmth extended to Pakistani students in Turkey.
