The newly elected representatives of the local governments will take oath of their offices on Thursday.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), polling schedule for reserved seats will be issued after the oath.
It said neither the Punjab nor the Sindh Government has so far issued notification regarding the number of reserved seats.
It said polling schedule for indirect election will be issued on Friday if the provincial governments do not respond in this regard.
