Syrian security forces stopped a pickup truck on Saturday that was trying to enter East Ghouta region of Damascus province through Al-Wafideen checkpoint near Harasta town.
The driver pretended to be carrying vegetables; however, upon the inspection it turned out that the truck, in fact, was loaded with thousands of machinegun bullets hidden in secret boxes under the car.
Origin of the truck remains unknown – at least, so far.
Earlier, Syrian government forces scored a breakthrough advance in rural Damascus capturing Ayn Tarma vallley from jihadist militants.
