Ridding on half-centuries from RR Hendricks and Faf du Plessis, South Africa went on a batting rampage as they posted a huge total of 192-6 in the first of the three T20 matches series at Cape Town today (Friday).

Earlier, Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik won the toss and decided to field first against South Africa.

Mohammad Hafeez has a slight hamstring niggle and will be rested from tonight’s first T20I that will give him every chance of being fit for the next two fixtures.

South Africa have won six out of their 11 fixtures against Pakistan while the Men in Green have won five matches so far.

However, world number one Pakistan have been on a roll in T20I cricket and are on a remarkable run of 12 consecutive series wins.

However, the Proteas will want to bring the momentum from the ODI series into the T20Is.
