    Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir has strongly refuted of retirement from Test Cricket saying it will continue to represent Pakistan in the longer format of the game as he is still young and fit.

    The 25-year-old told in an interview that he has no idea how these baseless news of Test retirement which surfaced on media. Amir said he had only remarked that players should take good care of their bodies and fitness levels, but his statement was misinterpreted.

    He further added that his performance is improving day by day after returning to international cricket. He admitted that he faced difficulties initially, but conditions have become favorable now.

    Amir expressed that he was at the peak of his career when faced a five-year ban, and it was not easy to achieve the same level as bowler goes out of form even if he stays away from the game for five months.
