    Former boxing champion Amir Khan pays paid his respects at Data Darbar shrine today. The boxing champ was accompanied by his wife Faryal Makhdoom at the occasion.

    Amir khan also laid the laid a floral wreath after offering prayers at the shrine.

    While talking to media at during his visit to the shrine, the former Olympic medalist revealed that he feels internal satisfaction whenever he visits the shrine.

    Amir Khan also professed that there is no security issue within Pakistan and that the country is safe for any kind of sports.

    He maintained that after the wrestling competitions, the boxing events will also be organized soon within the country.

    While responding to a question regards to Bakhtawar Bhutto, Amir Khan revealed that she is a very good friend of his wife and also fond of boxing and that is why he gave her a bit of training at Dubai.

    The former world champion also expressed his wish to extend his philanthropic activities within Pakistan, adding that a project relating to clean drinking water will soon be launched.
