  • Younis likely to face three to five matches ban

    Younis Khan Younis Khan

It is likely that Younis Khan can be banned for three to five matches over violation of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) code of conduct.

Former captain of Pakistan cricket team, Younis Khan had argument with fourth umpire over not giving no ball in match between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in ongoing Pakistan Cup in Faisalabad. The fourth umpire informed Khan that it is work of field umpires to given no ball. After that Khan left the captaincy and tournament, returned back to Karachi.

On the other hand sources said that match referee report will be submitted to the PCB in two days on which the board will decide the action against Khan.

Furthermore, sources also claimed that Younis has violated level three of the PCB code of conduct by not receiving letter sent to him. On the basis of the violation he can be barred to play three to four matches.
