  • Younis Khan also backs Pak-India cricket series

    Stunning national player Younis Khan on Saturday has also supported Pakistan-India cricket series and said that the cricket boards of both countries should hold series on permanent basis.

    India has maintained a quite confused stance since past weeks when it comes to cricket series with Pakistan.

    While talking to media in Karachi, Younis Khan urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to separate politics from game and allow the teams to play the series.

    He wished to serve the country more in the field of cricket and encouraged the players to prepare for upcoming matches.

    Talking about Twenty20, Younis said that he wants to train the players with his advices as he wants the national team to reach semi-finals.

    Furthermore, he suggested to make the environment of dressing room better for players.

    Earlier, BCCI chief Shashank Manohar on Thursday once again asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan to wait for another three to four days for the final decision on Indo-Pak cricket series.

    According to sources, the PCB chief approached BCCI for a final response over much talked series between the neighbors.

    Shahryar Khan said that Indian authorities also need permission from their government due to which they are delaying the series.
