Pakistan has moved one rank up from 171 to 170 in the September edition of the FIFA World rankings released on Thursday.

In Asia, Afghanistan, ranked 130, and India, ranked 155, are above Pakistan while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, ranked 173 and 184 respectively, are below Pakistan.

There is no change at the top of the rankings, with Argentina continuing to remain the top-ranked team with 1,442 points followed by Belgium while Germany maintains their third spot.

Chile are the only team to have made significant movement in the top ten, as they move from tenth to the eighth position and are now on their highest-ever position since the revision of the world ranking in 2006.

England, however, have fallen two places and filled the spot vacated by Chile to become the tenth ranked team in the world.
