Pakistani actress Sana Javed was subjected to crowds chanting Sania Mirza’s name when she was attending the Pakistan Super League match.
The actress, who recently married Shoaib Akhtar, attended a PSL match where her husband was playing for Karachi Kings. While she was seen supporting and cheering for him, a group of fans were seen trying to gain Sana’s attention by chanting Sania’s name.
In a video shared on X, previously known as Twitter, Sana was seen seated on a VIP dais and watching the match when a man seated in the stands behind screamed out Sania Mirza’s name. He was soon joined by a few other men and they chanted Sania’s name. At first, Sana appeared to avoid giving the bystander the attention. However, she seemed to turn back and smile at the crowd.

Sana Javed married Shoaib in January. The couple surprised fans with the news of their marriage by posting photos from their wedding ceremony. The cricketer shared the first-ever pictures from their wedding on his Instagram and it instantly broke the internet.
For the occasion, Shoaib Malik donned a white sherwani adorned with intricate golden detailing, while Sana looked resplendent in a green and pink bridal ensemble with elaborate threadwork. She paired her look with exquisite polki jewellery, including a necklace, matching earrings, maang teeka, and paasa.
Prior to his union with Sana Javed, Shoaib Malik had been married to Sania Mirza. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Hyderabad in April 2010 and was based in Dubai. Following the news of Shoaib’s wedding with Sana, it was revealed that Sania asked for a ‘khula’. For the unversed, a khula is an Islamic jurisprudence through which a woman can initiate a divorce from her husband unilaterally.
The family of the star from Hyderabad said in a message, “Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now.”
“She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead,” the message read. “At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy,” they added.
