    Sindh CM says no contention over IG issue Sindh CM says no contention over IG issue

    Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Monday that there exists no contention between the provincial government and Sindh Inspector General of Police AD Khawaja.

    Shah was addressing the media after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid on the occasion of the Pakistan founder’s death anniversary.

    Shah said that the issue of the Sindh IG was in court and only it had the authority to pass a verdict.

    He said that the leaders should envisage Jinnah’s vision and work upon it.

    Shah said the issues of administration exist everywhere and it is not a new thing.

    The Sindh High Court on Thursday ordered the IG to continue on his post after he was removed by the provincial government in a controversial manner last year. 

    Sindh Governor Mohammed Zubair also spoke to media during a visit to the Quaid's Mausoleum and said that today is an important historical day and wished that Pakistan fulfills Jinnah’s vision.

    He said that for the progress of the country economic progress is very important. 

    Moreover, Sindh Rangers DG Maj Gen Mohammad Saeed also visited the mausoleum. He laid a floral wreath and offered a prayer as well.
