Fire broke out in a plastic factory in Labour Square area of SITE Sunday morning.
However, labourers were not present inside the factory as it was a day off. Therefore, no loss of life has been reported.
According to police and fire brigade personnel, they were trying to contain the fire from reaching the roof of the factory as gas cylinders installed there.
Besides, a grid station of K-Electric and CNG station are also situated close to the factory.
Initially, five fire brigades were sent to the site but were not sufficient to douse the inferno, which is why more vehicle have been dispatched. Moreover, three water tankers have also reached the area.
