    Polling process for Local Bodies elections on three Union Councils including two Town Committees has started in District Sanghar and Badin, while strict security arrangements have been made on this eve.

    According to details, at last polling held in Sanghar District of Sindh, which had been postponed two times in the past. According to Election Commission, 724340 voters will cast their votes during today’s polling in Sanghar district, for which 692 polling stations have been established, out of which 330 polling stations were declared extremely sensitive, while 227 polling stations were declared sensitive.

    At least 1692 candidates will compete on 479 seats across district.

    Meanwhile, polling process was under way in three Union Councils Saeedpur, Ali Bahadur Shah and Kuriyo Gahnor including two Town committees Talhar and Kuriyo Gahnor.

    Government provided 6904 policemen for the security during elections, while 1000 Rangers and Pakistan Army soldiers will perform their duties. The administration has announced Section 144 across district and public holiday.
