A grade-18 officer at Punjab’s livestock department has on Sunday complained about sexual harassment in the department. Rozeena Sardar, biochemist, informed Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif of the incident, reported.
The lady officer alleged that she was called to the livestock department for a wrong reason and kept locked there from 9 in the morning till half past 7 in the evening.
The lady also alleged that she wasn’t able to make or receive any calls during the period due to which she was unable to make any contact with the family throughout the day.
She said that extremely obscene language was used with her during her stay at the office that day. She said that she had taken the step in order to save the other ladies of the department.
