Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has been sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.
The oath was administered by Governor Punjab Muhammad Rafique Rajwana at Governor House Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah attended oath taking ceremony.
Meanwhile, Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan took oath as newly appointed judge of the Supreme Court after he was elevated to the superior court. Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered the oath to Ijaz Ul Ahsan at a ceremony held at Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry.
The ceremony was attended by judges and lawyers.
