Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the flood-hit areas of Multan today and announced that all the houses that have been damaged by the floods will be rebuilt by the government. He said that he will not sit with peace till rehabilitation of all the flood victims.
Speaking after getting briefed over the devastation caused by floods at flood Relief Camps today (Monday), Nawaz Sharif thanked Police, Army and Rescue teams for helping the flood victims. “I and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will remain with you till this disaster is over”, said PM Nawaz.
Nawaz Sharif also said that all the damaged houses will be rebuilt and he will personally monitor this activity. He prayed for an end to the floods and said that the government will not leave the flood victims alone.
