Police have included section 7 of the anti-terrorism act in Model Town tragedy’s first information report (FIR) that was lodged against the prime minister, Punjab chief ministers and other federal ministers.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahirul Qadri had rejected the FIR of Model Town tragedy, saying that section of the anti-terrorism act was not included in the report.
But, now Police have included the section 7 of the anti-terrorism act in the FIR, fulfilling the demand of Qadri.
A police crackdown at Minahjul Quran secretariat had left over a dozen people dead and scores of others injured on June 17, 2014.
