An officer of Pakistan Army and a soldier embraced martyrdom on Tuesday during an operation against terrorists in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ISPR, the security forces are carrying out an operation in Malikabad area of Swabi where the troops cordoned off a compound of militants.

During the exchange of fire, Captain Junaid and sepoy Amjad were martyred. The shootout is still underway, ISPR said in a statement.

Officials said the martyred captain was leading the troops in the operation.
