    Maryam Aurangzeb has vowed on Saturday to make sure that Hassan Asad alias Hassan Sadpara, Pakistan’s first mountaineer who summitted Everest and K2 among others, gets the best of medical facilities.

    Sadpara is under treatment at a private hospital in Rawalpindi and his son, Arif Hassan has appealed to the government to take care of his medical expenses.

    Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Maryam Aurangzeb dispatched a bouquet of flowers to the ailing national hero on instructions of the Prime Minister (PM) and assured him of support from the government.

    The minister, on the occasion acknowledged that Sadpara is one of the best mountaineers in the country and is a national pride.

    Hassan Asad hails from a village near Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan called, Sadpara.
