Spokesperson Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Shahidullah Shahid has welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s proposal to reinitiate the dialogue process.
TTP said that they do not object over the members of the four-member committee formed by the Prime Minister in this regard. TTP spokesperson said that the decision will be made after consultation with central Taliban leadership.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif attended National Assembly’s session today and said that the government wants to give peace another chance and that peace negotiations with Taliban will be reinitiated. Opposition leader Khursheed Shah and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan also assured support.
TTP spokesperson said that the decision will be made after consultation with central Taliban leadership.
