    The Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken the notice of vicious killing of seven-year old girl Zainab, who was raped and killed in Kasur on Tuesday, and summoned report from IG Punjab within 24 hours.

    According to the release issued by the Supreme Court, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has taken the notice of Zainab’s raped and murder after the media report and ordered Inspector General Punjab to submit report in next 24 hour in this connection.

    A Seven-year-old girl was brutally raped and murdered in Kasur, said police sources.

    According to the details, the miner girl, Zainab was kidnapped four days ago from Road Kot, Kasur. She was strangled to death after being rapped. The police have recovered her body from a garbage heap on Tuesday evening.

    People blocked the railway road and staged protest demonstration over the brutality and murder. They demanded of the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the murder.

    The victim of Kasur incident parents, who were out of country to perform Umrah have reached Islamabad few hours after their daughter’s funeral in Kasur and said they will not bury their daughter until justice is served.

    Speaking to the media, Zainab’s father said, “In Pakistan, security is only for leaders and we are just insects.” He further stated the police did nothing when they were informed about her abduction, and said Zainab was a loving child, who had a keen interest in religion. “She knew the five Islamic kalmas by heart.”

    The parents also pleaded for the CJP to take suo moto notice of their daughter’s case as he also pleaded army chief to take notice of the incident.
