    As the Supreme Court of Pakistan reserved its judgement in Panama Papers implementation case, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif summoned an important consultative meeting in Islamabad today (Friday) to discuss the government’s future strategy, sources told.

    According to sources, federal ministers, advisors and special assistants to the premier are attending the meeting, however, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar is not present.

    Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif also arrived in Islamabad through a special flight to participate in the meeting.

    Earlier today, Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed the confidence that the Supreme Court will decide the Panama Papers case strictly in accordance with the law and constitution.

    Speaking to journalists outside the apex court in Islamabad, the minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons did not claim exemption available to them and instead presented themselves for accountability.

    She said despite a lengthy and minute investigation process, there is not a shred of evidence to prove allegations of corruption, commission, kickbacks or misuse of power by the elected Prime Minister.

    To another question, Marriyum Aurangzeb dispelled he impression that Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan is angry with the party. She said everyone has his own point of view but this does not mean differences within the party.
