Afghan President Hamid Karzai will arrive in Islamabad today on one-day tour of Pakistan.
President Karzai will call on his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, after reaching in Islamabad this day.
Pakistan army troops will present guard of honor to Afghan President in Prime Minister’s House after arrival and later on, he would hold a one-to-one meeting with PM Sharif.
Both leaders will exchange views over bilateral dialogues between Afghanistan and Pakistan; they would hold a joint press conference after the meeting.
Sources have informed that Afghan President Hamid Karzai will call on President Asif Ali Zardari as well in his one-day tour.
Many key issues including prevailing situation in the region and important aspects of foreign forces’ departure from Afghanistan will be discussed during meetings of Pakistani leaders and Afghan President in Islamabad, added the sources
