The driver of a coaster taking people to picnic was Injured during an attempted robbery near busy Hassan Square area here this morning.
The robbers opened fire on the coaster was carrying over 20 picnic goers during the robbery attempt.
The driver was seriously injured by a bullet that hit his head. He was taken to Jinnah hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
The driver of the coaster is identified as Abdul Rahman.
According to police the driver was shot in the head.
Police has shifted the coaster to Aziz Bhatti police station.
