    Adviser on Foreign Affairs says he will go to India to attend heart of Asia conference on Afghanistan in India.

    Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz has said escalation along the Line of Control can destabilize peace in the region.

    Talking to media persons in Islamabad on Tuesday evening, he said India is increasing escalations along the border to divert attention from its internal affairs.

    The Advisor said Pakistan is apprising the international community about Indian provocation along LoC and the Working Boundary.

    He said various countries are exerting pressure on India to refrain from increasing tensions with Pakistan.

    He said Islamabad is fully committed to ceasefire agreement with India, but New Delhi was not fulfilling its commitment.

    The Advisor said Pakistan will continue responding effectively to India's provocation at LoC. He said our army is fully capable to respond effectively to any Indian aggression.

    To a question, Sartaj Aziz said he will go to India to attend heart of Asia conference on Afghanistan. He said decision to have a bilateral meeting with Indian side will be taken on New Delhi's request and according to the situation. The Advisor said India has damaged the multilateral process of SAARC due to bilateral relations.

    He said we want to prove that we are with the multilateral process by attending heart of Asia conference as Afghanistan is our top priority.

    To another question, he said Pakistan is also in contact with transition team of US President-elect Donald Trump. He said Donald Trump's attention would be drawn to get resolved the Kashmir issue for lasting peace in the region.
